What is Specific Chiropractic

Specific Chiropractic had its introduction back in 1924. Dr. BJ Palmer, whom was the developer of Chiropractic, was beginning to notice in his “pit classes,” as they called them, the upper cervical region was helping people get well faster from conditions and problems. From this simple observation, Dr Palmer began to investigate this fascinating area of the body. He soon realized just how important the Occipito – Atlanto –Axial area is and how it controlled many aspects of the human body.

By 1934, he published one of his most famous books, The Subluxation Specific – The Adjustment Specific, a 700+ page masterpiece which described what Dr. Palmer had found over the last 10 years including thousands of cases which had gotten well with Specific Chiropractic care including: Parkinson’s disease, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Tumors and other diseases.

In the 1940’s, Dr. Palmer had turned a patients head to the side, moving musculature, which made for a more direct contact on the vertebrae. This single advancement allowed Dr. Palmer to secure even more proficient results which is now known today as Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractic or simply, Specific Chiropractic. Specific Chiropractic is the single most researched aspect of the profession to date. This is the chosen technique by Dr. Tron Malachowski today.

Specific Chiropractic today accounts for a fraction of the profession. Our expertise is not only the spine and nervous system, but with an emphasis on a unique area of the body called the brain stem. This extremely vital area is located at the base of your brain and the very top of your spinal cord. All function exists at this area of the body as hundreds of millions of nerve fibers converge here making up the beginning of the spinal cord and ultimately supplying the body with vital information. When this area is not functioning properly, we see people have multiple issues and problems due to the fact their bodies are not receiving the proper transmission of information from brain to body. Our unique approach addresses this area; allowing the body time to heal itself, the way it was intended.

The care we provide is safe, highly effective and involves no popping, cracking or twisting.
